Everyones favorite nose manualer came into Asheville this weekend to ride the trails for a few hours. Seems like he has had quite a great weekend after dropping in on a quarter that was no longer there and knocking himself out. He then sprocket cased a landing at the trails where Anthony ended up landing on him, and kicking the back of his head. Saturday night, the after party is at the Bar Tibbs works at, Called Mojo’s, and The Mangler, Mike Mcqueen is bringing the new Levi’s video to show on the big screen…
As for the Event, we’ve got a bunch of prizes for the Mini ramp jam, and cash for Highest Bunnyhop of the day. Leland is going to have a hot dog eating contest, and Gull, as well as RPG will playing on the Flatbottom of the Mini while we run High air, and Best trick… we are looking at about a grand for the winner of each. Kind of a winner take all in those respects…. Ghetto Big air is NOT jam format, its a semi casual pre register/Invite only style, so if you plan on riding in it, email Info@fbmbmx.com and let us know. This is partly due to the outrageousness of the ramp setup, and the format of the comp…as well as limited time and space. Riders confirmed are Garret G. Mickey M. , Chad Kagy, Simon Tabron. Zack Shaw, Robb Tibbs, Zack Warden, and more, with Mat Hoffman Judging.
We hope to see you all at the event, it should be a good mix of Riding, good music, food, beverages, Big Sketchy airs, and laughter with Darryl Nau bringing some Hype.

Welcome to a LONG-Overdue redesign of CarolinaBMX.net! The first change you may notice is the DOT-NET domain name, which I had to purchase to replace the DOT-COM domain which I lost on the day it needed to be renewed back in Jan. to a domain raider, who now wants $350 or more to get it back. No way! So here we are today, with a new domain extension and design!

The new layout is easier to navigate, and update. I will be adding guest editors over the next few weeks to boost the amount of news, and frequency of updates on here.  The first guests are “Da Mangler” Mike McQueen from Greensboro, NC and Nik Pawlak from the Charlotte, NC area.

Also notice the Video and Photo widgets on the right of the news page here. Both will be updated more frequently than previous editions of CarolinaBMX.com and will be easier to contribute to as well.
